LimeLeap's president, Marco Luzuriaga, had the privilege of presenting the social and economic benefits of Green IT at the Women in Technology event on Green Energy and Green IT. Among the items presented were the savings a small company, a large company, and a region as a whole would realize by turning off their PCs every night.

Through use of the classic three Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), several methods for environmentally-friendly IT practices were explored.
